The guys I have met/know who run Dolmars really like them. I know I like my baby Dolmar.

You stole that saw! Well done! Good choice. The antivibe springs or mounts or something were a little weak on the 7900's not too many years ago. They tended to break?? or something, I forget. It was a maintenance item at that time. Sawhands carried parts. No big deal. Yours is probably fine.

That's a way nicer saw than anything else in that price range. It is just as good as anything made. And better than many that cost a lot more. I don't know what Dolmar's problem is. They build a great saw but can't market them well I guess. It should cost more.

Do y'all think an Echo CS-680 will handle a 27" bar in white pine well? Probably semi chisel.

I think a 6400 Handel's a 24" bar burried in hardwood just fine. So a 680 in pine with a 27".... Just fine IMO

Picked up a new 562xp last year.

Ran it hot and cold, nothing but good things to say about it.

So far very happy after about 10 cord.
