I've had the pieces sitting around for this and finally welded them up. Drawbar is a Tractor Supply Cat 1.

I promptly put it to work removing a locust stump. I had previously burned the stump, but it still had a portion I didn't want to catch the mower blades on.

The pictures make it look easy. Had to do a good amount of digging with shovel and trowel and chopping with the axe. Just when you think you have all the major roots, you realize there's another one even further down (based on tractor squatting and lifting the front end). The worst was the one that was pretty much underneath the stump going vertical. :shovel:

I don't know if it's the picture, but the left lift link just doesn't look right. Seems to be turned to much.

I agree. Almost looks like the part that lifts the arms is installed backwards. Maybe even on both sides.

Good catch, that is correct. The part that's angled at the bottom of each side link is flipped. Should be angled the other way.

Turned this way looks better:

But turned the other way seems to work here:

Yup, lift arms are less drunk there. The parts diagram shows the yokes on those lift rods as being pretty much straight:

I'll have to mess with them and see if I can make them look better. I've got some proper turnbuckle-style check chains coming, so maybe I'll do it when I install those.
