Yeah, 10 tons ain't much when you look at that little pile your hard earned money just bought. Spreads out pretty quick too, leaving you wanting more!:)

It did, I'm back inside and left just a little bit of the pile for settling and filling in some holes after it rains in the next couple days.

It's going to cost a small fortune to get this driveway rocked and done right. But will be super nice once I get it finished!

The box blade is a nice implement on its own accord, and is good ballast for your loader.

I ALWAYS ask for a copy of the weight ticket when I get rock delivered. I call the query and find out what material costs. I then price the delivery fee. I only pay the cost of materials based off of weight ticket and the delivery fee.......You can really get taken to the cleaners if you just take their word for how much the load weighs.

How safe is the draw bars that are attached to the 3pt hitch to use? Meaning, pulling logs and such? I know it can lift 1500-1600 lbs, but pulling force I'm not sure about.

I bent mine. Had class 1 pins in and welded to a bar inside the tank. From hooking to the weightbox hook, although down low, it eventually bent from all the jerking around. Heavy pulling not a problem but jerking to pull trees down not the best idea.

For sale; 1500# nice looking paper weight. Free. Come and get it.

10 tons isn't much at all. Loose gravel of that size is about 1.4-1.5 tons per yard, so you probably got about 6-7 yards.

If you want to blow your mind, figure out the yards you'd need to cover the entire driveway with 2" of gravel and then convert to tons.....

Just figured that I would need between 13-15 yards to finish driveway to my liking. Calculator I used said 1 yard= 2 tons. So I am looking at 30 tons on the high end, not as bad as I was thinking. this would be a 3" base layer. Should do a 6" base layer, then I am up in the 60 ton range. Now that will get pricey!

More Progress!

Started to dig out where my Man Cave is going and using the dirt to back fill where my Saw Mill is going. Cut down a Locust Tree and still have 6 more to cut to make room for Mill shelter and the drying shelter.

Driveway is rough, but not muddy, so It will just stay for the time being.
I had to make a lumbar support for the tractor out of towels, lower back was killing me. This seat doesn't adjust the backrest, it is fixed. I will be fixing this in the future for sure!

Here goes......

These stumps are kicking my azz! Locust and a Hickory within 4-5 feet of each other. Roots are interlocked! UGH!!!!

These are the next one to come out after I get the ones above out. I am seriously thinking about making some kind of mechanical advantage system, but I don't have any snatch blocks large enough to handle the weight and rope to handle the weight either......If money want's an issue life would be easier.

On a good note, tractor has 50 hours of hassle free service so far. Time for the first service!

Are they close to the house. If not black powder or something between them to break them apart. Or if you could do a controlled fire and burn them
