First Dealer Test......

So, I am at my first service and called dealership for filters and stuff.

With this being a new model this year they can't find the part numbers to get me the filters......aaaahhhhh, OK.

Maybe I am just looking at this a bit differently than I should, but.....If you sell a tractor to someone and at the time of purchase the customer asked you questions about the filters and the first service shouldn't the filters be available or at least had the time to look that information up already. This was 4 weeks ago, maybe I'm just looking at this as customer, but I was a little surprised that they didn't have the information.


On a different note, who has experience replacing hydraulic lines? I need to replace the one on the top of my BH on the left side (if you are sitting in the seat). Where is a good place to source them? Dealer is having a hard time finding the part, so I'm going to see what I can find on my own and then compare price once I hear back from them.

Until I get the hose and the filters tractor is down for "Maintenance".....

The 2610 is a 15 model. Shouldn't any problems with parts. Sounds like the dealer may be the problem

As far as a hydraulic hose, we have several local places that make hydraulic hose.
I just take the old hose with me, they make a new one to match within minutes, reinstall.
If your hose is a warranty item you may need to go through the dealer.

CK2610 to the best of my knowledge is a 2016 model, heck it wasn't even put on their website till a week ago. Plus there aren't any other websites that list parts for it, so if it is a 2015 model there are a lot of websites and dealerships slipping on information and part listings then.

This was just an experience I wasn't expecting. From what I have seen, it's not just the dealer that is lacking on information on this model. It's new, granted Kioti could of had more information before listing the tractor and selling it. But, I'm not going to hold that against them. I like it so far and am happy with it so far.

As far as warranty, I broke it. It got snagged on a stump root and got a small tear in it, leaks slowly. Plus I would have to pay $75 for them to pick it up and bring it back, they are 45 miles from me. $37.50 each way and I don't have to haul it or rent a trailer sounds fair to me. The hose is $30, so I'll just put it on myself and be good to go.

Regardless of how new this is I would have expected the dealer to have been on the phone to his rep to get any and all information you requested and have an answer by at least the next day.
Your dealer should also be able to make the hose if you don't want to wait on factory one.

OK, warranty probably wouldn't apply anyway.
Much faster and easier to just get the hose made up local.

If the hose is common size with NTP fittings, a local Tractor Supply may have one in stock. Otherwise, find a local place that makes hydro hoses and show them the broken one, as previously mentioned.
