I venture to say for most of us a tractor represents a huge expenditure and is not something we can expense...
We do our research and go forward with the expectation of years of reliable service.
It's not like we have a fleet of tractors to tide us over or we are large customers where the Dealer will offer a loaner to keep up the company's good name.
None the less we do expect what we paid for.
I have friend that farms thousand of acres commercially and bought a new tractor for planting... it was a new model and problems from day one... the manufacturer and the dealer made it right... he was not just a good customer... he was also past president of the local AG association...
I think all he said to the dealer was, "He was sure **** would do right by him."
