Can you tell me what year this Ford 2000 diesel is?

I think its a 1968 but I'm a little confused by the stampings because they are worn and hard for me to read. Any help is appreciated.

If yours is the three cylinder as it looks like it was made between 1965 to 1975.
If you send the numbers to Ford they should be able to nail down the date of manufacture..

Nobody at "Ford" is gonna help; they sell cars & trucks.

Post the Unit code from the foil tag under the hinged half of the hood, or post all 3 rows of numbers hand stamped in the clutch housing on the horizontal surface behind the starter and below the fuel tank shutoff.

Thanks much. Odd deal. I really couldn't make out the code by looking at on the camera but when I pulled it up just now on my computer the code is much easier to read.

Your help is appreciated as well as the additional information. I'm just a "food plotter" but I've really had a good time with this tractor. Easy to work on, parts inexpensive, and seems to run great although its 50 years old.
