Where does everyone get their paint from? My friend was telling me about the epoxy paint that he got from Tractor Supply to repaint his John Deere. He seemed to like it a lot.

This place seems to have a good price on the top link bracket. The lowest price I could find anywhere else was $120. They also have a combo deal on the other lift parts minus the top link and stabalizers. Those I can just steal from the other tractor. Unfortunately the nose piece is well over $200 here so I will most likely buy it from a different source unless the shipping cost makes is comparable. I get free shipping for spending over $500. I'm wondering if the 2600 nose will fit on the 3910. I might just have to check that out. I'm thinking it probably will and maybe the grill will too.

I converted my 3910 from chain stabilizers to telescoping using Cheap Tractor Parts Not sure they are any better source but it's another choice.

I'll check them out. Thanks! I think I can get all the lift parts (everything including telescopic stabilizers) for around $750 and free shipping. Their nose cone is $40 more expensive than what I'm seeing on ebay ($179). Include a new grill for $52 with shipping and some amazon led head lights and I should come in just under $1000. Not to shabby. I think I might just pull the trigger on everything instead of trying to get the stuff from the 2600 to work.

I finally had some time to get this abomination off. I should be able to cut the angle that was welded on it the plasma cutter and then fab and weld up the horizontal piece that's missing. Does anyone know the length, width and height of the straight/flat drawbar? I figure I can just make my own since I have both a mill and a mag drill.

Went ahead and ordered all of the 3 point hitch parts I needed and a fuel shutoff valve since the other one was broken and leaking. Going to hold off on the grill and nose cone until I finish straightening everything up front. Also noticed I need to replace the oring/seals for the throttle/fuel shutoff shafts as they seem to be leaking. I'll try to take more pictures as I delve into this deeper.

Picked up a whole bunch of spray guns for free. I should be able to use one of the hvlp guns to spray the tractor.

I think some of these are clear guns (Sata?).

Scored a spot welder for fixing dents too.

Got most of the drawbar bracket separated from the other steel. Just need to remove the two side pieces and then remake the horizontal piece.

My buddy has the plasma cutter right now so luckily I had my trusty old portaband.

Is anyone using this trans/hydro fluid? I need one more 5 gallon bucket and then I think I have enough to do the transmission and rear end.

Not familiar with that hydraulic oil. I use "303", local brand, it meets the Ford 134 specs.

I may just wait and see what the fluid looks like when I drain it. If it's pretty contaminated then I may just run this as a flush and then switch to the better stuff (actually meets spec) afterwards.
