Welding is somethings I've never experimented with but need to sometime soon.
You are a better welder than me. I could stick stuff together with one of those but never smoothly enough that it looked like I knew what I was doing. I could do nicer work with the $50 yard sale 50 year old 'buzzbox'. (Montgomery Wards 220v 230A-AC stick welder, like a Lincoln Tombstone).I just bought the cheap harbor freight flux core welder and taught myself how. .... if you can weld with those little flux welders the migs are so much nicer and easier.
That's a nice looking welder, and not to bad of a price either
Man - you guys with rich people's toys!

I looked on WeldingWeb and everybody who posted about the HF 90A-AC flux welder was asking 'how do I make this thing work properly?'. Those complaints lessened when HF came out with the black series 90A-AC welder. Maybe that version works better.
I finally bought a $135 used Century 110v welder with DC and gas-capable, that one welds nicely with flux wire. (Similar to Hobart handler 140). Instead of HF's 90A-AC flux welder I suggest pay a little more for anything with DC.
