For the F250 I'm thinking air bags are different than air shocks?

Very different.

As to complexity I'd say the airshocks are highest.

As to maintenance I'd say the airbags are highest.

As to durability I'd say the added springs are highest.

The rear squat doesn't bother me... you load the box and the downward pressure increases.

One of the reasons for the F250 was for ride reported to be better than the F350

Wonder how each option affects ride?

The reality is 80% of the time it will be running empty and not towing...

My '00 F250 supposedly has F350 spring kit added. I'm not sure what that entails. It sits level, not low in the front, when empty. It handles my GN trailer with little rear squat. Here's probably the heaviest rear axle load I've had on it. This is Grossing somewhere around 30K.

Those service boxes are heavy. I would think you'll be close to the gvwr with very little in the bed. I wouldn't put one on anything less than a dually.
