My experience was the same way. Just looking for the right manual which I'm sure will get to me.
Which one do you need?

OK, you like where you live (though you don't say where that is?). I like all the places I've lived: MA, NH, KY, FL, and GA.I've been to taxachusetts, (wife has relation there) land tax is MUCH higher than in the upper mid west where we live, as is everything else there. The rest of the east coast cost more than here too... housing, gas, food, tires ect... How about those land prices over that way??
Sales tax here is 6%, but I don't have to pay sales tax on the tractors or any farm type equipment I buy... how about you?? I guess we better not mention your firearms laws, either!! lol

OK, you like where you live (though you don't say where that is?). I like all the places I've lived: MA, NH, KY, FL, and GA. There are high and low land prices in different parts of New England, there are high and low tax states in New England, there are strict and loose firearms laws in different states in New England. The one thing that does seem to hold is that we pay more for tractors than other parts of the country, at least small tractors like Kubota. I got as good a deal as anyone round these parts and it was still a couple grand more than the best deals elsewhere. If you are asking about state sales tax, Massachusetts does not tax equipment used on commercial farms, production machinery like milling machines, equipment used in Research and Development, etc. I believe if I took delivery of the tractor in MA I would have had to pay sales tax: not sure as it was purchased in NH and lives there. Oh one other thing New England states share: rocks. We got a lot of rocks. Glaciers brought them. If you are wondering where the glaciers are now - they went back to get more rocks.
ooooooooh come on!, you know those polar bears are enjoying it!!Yes and Al Gore blames humans for melting those rock depositing glaciers. All of the global warming, I mean climate change people cannot explain why some glaciers are melting and some are growing, like Antartica. There are some scientists predicting a mini ice age soon. It has nothing to do with humans though. They predict a lull of solar flares on the Sun. Hmmmm, how's that possible. The Sun controls the heat of the Earth? I thought it was carbon dioxide. It only makes up 0.04% of the earths atmosphere or 400 ppm. It has varied over time from 7000 ppm to 180 ppm. There is no doubt carbon dioxide levels affect the temperature of the earth, but there are outside uncontrollable forces that do to. Sorry about the science lesson.
I wished they were that price here. I think we have the highest prices in the lower 48 states in the northeast.
You can buy a new 20' 12K equipment trailer for $4200, and shop anywhere for a tractor,..... either new or used. The trailer may almost pay for itself, with a tractor buy from out of state (maybe even no sales tax), and then you will also have a trailer for moving your tractor, as well as all sorts of other uses.
This is true, but some dealers can be funny about warranty work if you don't buy from them.
