Have more sex. Keeps the tubes open and working properly....and it's fun.

I'll have to make that suggestion to the red head....lol That will go over like a lead balloon.

...I swear as he popped that glove on and took a running start from across the room, I felt this enormous thing being shoved up where the sun don't shine and about the time my brain was screaming and I was letting out little whimpering sounds....it was over.

This is why I prefer getting my annual physical from a woman. Nothing perverted about it, their fingers are just a lot smaller.

My PSA was up a little last year. My family doc sent me to a local Urologist. He wanted to do a bunch of procedures. The people at the practice really pressured me to sign up asap. I wasn't too sure about it so I asked my family doc. He suggested I go down to John Hopkins. He said the docs down there were world class. I got checked out and the doc there who was also a prof at the med school told me to get rechecked in a year and come back. I think the local urologists get payed by the procedure and the docs at Johns Hopkins are on salary. My health insurance covers the big city health care no questions asked. A lot of health care groups are really medical businesses so you have to watch out or they will take you to the cleaners. It is hard for me to know if I need the procedure or the doctor needs to make a payment on his wifes mercedes.

I had my annual exam and blood tests a couple of months ago. The doc said everything was perfect and showed me the numbers. I stared at them and just went "uh huh' ocasionally...like I knew what she was talking about ...lol PSA was perfect..heck everything was perfect.

"Nothing like a 60 year old, slightly overweight, plump guy hanging onto a tree for dear life".

It is dificult for me to imagine a doctor telling an overweight, male patient, age sixty, that "everything" is "perfect".

Fooling yourself is called being in denial. Writing about prostate problems in a tractor forum is being in denial.

If you did not like the Urologist you saw, find another. My Urologist is a woman.

My overactive prostrate gland is what makes it hard to get up after a nap.

I tried that, signed up for a uro-doc named Jean St. Marie, but silly me, I forgot to look for a picture- HE turned out to be from a former French colony on the Dark Continent and looked like an NFL linebacker, with sausages for fingers.

When I was first a Family Practice PA, I shared an office with a colleague, who was a petite little cutey pie,who was frequently requested by new male patients for their prostate exams (most likely because of her very sweet demeanor in addition to her more obvious charrns)- ONCE!

They soon found out that with her tiny little hands, she also had really short little fingers, virtually requiring her to insert her whole hand (figuratively) to reach their prostates.

When I saw men for their (usually second) prostate exams, they were largely relieved to see that while I'm 6'2" and >/= 250#, and have large hands, I have long relatively thin fingers, much better suited to easily reaching that organ.

And as to how I know about why they asked for her once, and then switched, I asked at least a few of them.

Interestingly, it never occurred to them that we could see the pattern of visits and compare notes, but whoever did the second exam, necessarily had to refer back to the previous notes, so it was pretty obvious to us.

I was told before you go for a PSA test have no physical exercise (standing or lying down) for at least 24 hours. Exercise can raise the PSA level in alot of men.
