Looked at First Kioti today......

There is so much great information being offered up and it makes me want to present another question.
I find my self second guessing a purchase like this. At times it seems to be a lot for a tractor. I have tried looking for a decent used tractor and there aren't a lot out there. Yet again I think it isn't a bad investment.
Especially those who have purchased new.... what are your thoughts?
Thanks again to everyone.

Tractors hold their value extremely well. When I started my first tractor search all those years ago, I was astounded by the amounts of money they wanted for old worn out junk tractors. I bought a new one, and have bought 4 new ones since then.

This was what I found as well, while shopping last year. Glad I am not alone on this. I also think of it as an investment, seems like Tractors even appreciate in value, as inflation makes new stuff even more expensive 10+ years from now.

If you think about it, the only real difference between these tractors is the amount of metal and different sized tires. The labor and energy to produce and transport them is pretty much the same from 20-50hp. The Kioti DK and now NX series are notorious for baloney pricing. The DK40 is literally identical to the DK45 and DK50 except for stroke and bore of the same engine block. Pricing however comes in $2000 increments. The NX is even worse. There is virtually no difference other than engine software between the NX4510, 5010, 5510 and yet pricing varies by even more than $2K last time I checked for each 5hp increment. I think the NX6010 has bigger tires but the same engine as the others and costs even more.
Kioti isn't the only player in the game that has these incremental pricing schemes...I would guess that MOST manufactures do this. My 1652 was actually a rare case in this regard...substantially larger engine (3.0L) compared to the one in my otherwise identical 1648 (2.2L). But then, the 1652,1655,1660 were all identical, except for the fuel pump flow setting. LS does this, Kubota does too.
