Dropped another locust today... will be a good test of the logging winch I borrowed, as I have to get it up a steep bank. Didn't have time today, no more than got it on the ground, and got a message that the wife and kids were ready to go to town... maybe tomorrow it will get skidded up the hill.

I'm cutting some downed Locust on a lades Property and it is covered in Poisoned Oak. I got it really bad a couple of weeks ago.

I got my firewood more organized yesterday. I still need to straighten up the tarps and move the pallets of uglies.

did some cleaning up today. used an 8-8.5' oak log as ballast chained to the rear blade. i'm trying to save the three large logs to mills. but one the tractor couldn't quite pick up. i'm going to give it a month or so to dry out and we'll try again.

Nice hat, Terry. Yer really starting to show yer age... *grin*

I have a piece of railroad track I use in much the same fashion, chain it on top of my box blade or in loader bucket, depending on which end my little (by comparison to yours) tractor needs ballast. Only about 250#, but helps alot.
