I went to the local farm supply places and looked at their seats. I took my original (likely an original replacement) with me. The generic seats that they had were not up to my satisfaction with respect to the size. They all seemed like they were for the smaller compact tractors and I felt like I was sitting on the edge of the seat.

I purchased a 3 piece replacement from Northern Tool for about $120. We will see how long it will last. Currently the tractor is parked outside in the elements so I suspect it will not last long. Hopefully I can get my barn built this summer so I can get it out of the rain.

I received my seat and bolted it on. It looks and fit like it should but it does not seem to be a high quality seat but only time will tell. When I removed the old seat that was on the tractor, I realized that this replacement that I purchased is the exact same seat that was on the tractor. I have no idea how long the one on the tractor has been on there.

Seats on open station tractors will last a few years if in the weather. Before I had cab tractors I remember going through a few seats and paint jobs. Just part of life imp.
