2555 PTO question

Well... I gave up on trying to get the dealer to respond to my inquiries about fixing the PTO issue. They had the tractor for a week and I even had to provide them with the information on what was required for service at 50 hours. Needless to say I'm not happy with the service I received.

When I got the tractor home I started looking it over and found several things that are marked on the service sheet as completed that in fact were not. The sheet says they changed the front axle 4wd oil. I looked and the factory paint is not broke on the drain plug threads or the fill plug, there is no sign it was drained. There are several grease zerks that were not touched, they did not test the battery like I asked them to and several other issues.

I will be looking for another dealer to work with. I know I'll have to pay mahindra to transfer my service warranty, but I'd rather do it now and find a good dealer than feel like I have to live with this dealer just because I bought the tractor there.

Its not like this is the first time I've had trouble with the dealership. A situation accrued many years ago that make me stay away for over 10 years. The company was new back then and I thought by now they had learned how to treat customers and I'd give them another chance... well I guess I was wrong for doing that.

Live and learn right...... some people and businesses never change....

I'm fairly sure you don't have to transfer any warranty. You can have warranty work done at any authorized Mahindra dealer. You just need proof of purchase with date. This is another good example of choosing the right dealer.

Where is this clown? It sounds like others would do well to steer clear.
