how much will a 6 foot bush hog weigh? 600 lbs?
What an ordeal.
6' hogs can very just depend on how stout its made.
Light duty ones....~600#, Med duty ones ~800#, true HD 6' cutters can be ~1500#+

We got a call about 3 pm yesterday while doing Mothers day stuff, and no one had heard from his father since he left at 6 am...so he was heading out to find him, I said "okay" and we headed back home pulling an empty trailer
Monday:
I just got a text and apparently the bush hog is on the back of his fathers tractor and it is stuck somewhere on Roan mnt, and wants to know if we could help him get it out...and no cell service up there (I know that is true)
Waiting on pictures...
This may end up being the longest I just bought something and have never seen it Thread
I will update...

Okay appears to be a Ford 3500 ~ 5000 lbs and it's buried pretty good so probably close to 7500 lbs, so a 9000 lb winch, snatch block some chains and a couple blankets to throw over lines and a tree strap to anchor my truck from the rear to a tree...should be fun

That winch may be right at its limits.
That stuck factor will multiply the force necessary.
Also. Whatever is holding that snatch block in place will be exposed to the whole load not only the half on each fall line on a 2:1 setup.
Please see below. (If I did it right)

Unhook the brush hog first and drag it back out of the way.
Good luck and pictures please.
Almost the right answer. Unhook brush hog, load on trailer, drive away, let guy figure out how to get his tractor out of the mud...
