Hey dogpatch, any update?

Mine is getting delivered next week, and since it is 750 miles from the Cabela's that sold it, I am wanting to get a shop manual to do most of the maintenance myself.

I'm especially interested in also getting cross reference for the filters.

Mine is getting delivered next week, and since it is 750 miles from the Cabela's that sold it, I am wanting to get a shop manual to do most of the maintenance myself.

I'm especially interested in also getting cross reference for the filters.

Because Cabelas has the warranty responsibility as the selling dealer at your location . . have they discussed with you how warranty work will be handled? Remember . . the tractor may be coming from 750 miles away but its your selling location that is the responsibility.

That warranty work could be handled in one of 3 ways I'm thinking:

1. Cabelas could do the work in their own service shop in the area.

2. Cabelas could pay a TYM dealer in the area to do it for them (cabelas collects warranty pay and pays TYM dealer their shop rate).

3. Cabelas hires a tractor service center to do the work but same conditions as # 2.

4. Cabelas transports it to a regional service center of either # 1 or # 2.

All of these 4 options may be possible for warranty work and if # 4 you wouldn't be responsible for the transport costs . . that would be on Cabelas.

But I'd want to ask now and get something in written form. Cabelas is a reputable and honest operation and the product is good product . . but because the tractor is coming from 750 miles away . . I'd still want clear understanding of warranty process imo.
