thanks for all the input everyone, I have decided to spend a bit extra and go with a factory cab tractor which leaves the Kioti out in the size machine I am looking for :( I did hear that in a year ot two they should have full featured cabs in the CK series but I need a machine now.

Looking at the LS XR 3135 HC, have not pulled the trigger but probably will very soon.

It sounds like from my reading on TBN that LS is a pretty great brand, and the best bang for your buck like Kioti. They are known for having more powerful hydraulics and more standard features. I think they cost just a little more? Be sure to let us know when you get it!

Here are my thoughts after months of shopping.... keep in mind I have much less experience than many others on here. I was set on the CK2610 until I really looked at the differences with the 3510. In a nutshell, 50% more machine for 10% more cost. What meant most to me was the PTO power. I will be mowing 12-15 acres of pasture with a finish mower and a 60" mower just wasn't big enough for me. I bought a 72" phoenix finish mower with my 3510 and needed at least 30hp at my PTO, the 2610 wouldn't do it. Most experienced tractor owners on here will tell you that you'll never regret going a little bigger. When it comes to implements, the 3510 will give you more options. I will keep this tractor forever and figured why penny pinch when I am spending that much money anyway?

For your uses, especially mowing 15 acres, the CK3510 makes sense. I jumped to a DK40se from a CK20 when my mowing needs went from 4 to 15 acres. However, it isn't correct to say you got 50% more tractor for 10% extra. What you got was more PTO power. The frame size, 3PT capacity and loader specs are IIRC identical between the 2610 and 3510.

If you need to run six foot implements then 35 hp makes sense but for 5-8 acres or so 5 ft implements are fine, cost less, are easier to maneuver and store and are only a bit less efficient. The 20% increase in cutting width can add up when mowing large tracts but in reality cuts maybe 15 minutes off of a 2-2.5 hour mowing job given transport and set up time. A wider mower helps but it isn't dramatic until you get into batwings Etc.

Mowing (or snowblowing) are about the only task where more PTO power is especially useful so if other tasks are stressing the CK2610, it would make more sense to move to the NX4510. I'd personally always want a lower available hp engine in a larger frame size than the highest horsepower in a smaller size tractor.

Good advice, but the loader specs are different. The 2610 comes with the last generation loader, not the new 4010.

No problem, I almost got buyer's remorse when the CK2610 came out. But in hindsight, it was worth it for the heavier loader.

After putting 115 hours on my CK2610 I have only once needed more power. Moving wet dirt, a little more power for break out would of been nice. But not totally needed, knowing how to operate the loader without taking huge scoops that over loads the front end is all I started to do. Either way the bucket is only so big and and spill dirt everywhere if over full anyways.
