ok there is no adjustment knob but there is the backpin that sets the height on my tractor. also the midmower manual - i will check in a while. this is very frustrating. drove a tractor for over 50 years - i am stuck. Thanks.
well looked through the manual and i do not see how the piece that is too high to hook to the mower moves that much - so.... will check it out in a while - will try one more time in another place - the driveway. i did it on the grass - so we'll see.
I'm usually good at Googling solutions to problems. Sorry, couldn't find one for this, but found a thread from last fall by BlackOps on removal of the deck. Note the last sentence in the link below posted by Pitch1
Ok thanks toyou all - turns out i had to stand on the actual 2" 2.5" 3" etc metal half moon pieces for height adjustment to drive the rest of the unit down - it worked it was so tight you had to do it. also i just found a front right hydraulic leak - ****. That had better be covered under warranty.
Thanks again everyone....I had another tractor guy who rebuild s them check and he was questioning this too.... we both could not figure why it did not drop down all the way.
Hey guys - this right front hydraulic leak - that should be covered under warranty - correct - the delalers around here are quite shabby - and they would rather charge you the customer then take care of a warranty issue and get their $ from mahindra. the 2 dealers that i have and am dealing with.
That aspect to me has been the negative of my mahindra experience.
