It's a F250...
Very happy with it but I'm still in the "I can't believe I have a new truck" phase. Have not done any serious towing yet. Seats aren't super comfortable yet but I think it will break in. Would really like a rear camera for bumper pull hookups.

I noticed that mistake a few hours after i wrote it. I geuss i accidentally bumped the 3 instead of the 2. Have you driven it enough to figure out your mpg?

DiamondPilot, how many ccsb 6.2L XLT F-2/350s with 4.30s do you see at this dealer? Woodhouse Auto Family

No, I've only put about 250mi on it so far. Mostly unloaded rural roads. The computer readout MPGs on the dash are improving daily. (breaking in or the transmission is 'learning'). Still only 11.2mpg! I'm hoping that will improve. That's with 4.30s and A/T tire and regular gas.

Order. I have bought in excess of 20 vehicles and have ordered all but 3.

Nice. Post a pic or link here if you don't mind.

I've bee driving it as much as possible and I'm up to arround 700mi. Lol.

So far my only complaint is the gas mileage. I'm hoping that it just needs to break in. I had convinced myself that the Internet wisdom (both here and at ford-truck/FTE would be right about fuel economy. That the 4.30 gears would not have much effect. Most people on FTE claim 13-15mpg unloaded and most have the 3.83s.

I'm getting about 10-11mpg on mostly rural roads and being as easy as I can. 12-13 on the one longer highway trip I took. :confused3:

Ill post pics, but it may be closer to a week from now... Hopefully you're mpg improves as it breaks in more. on FTE i hear some people saying that 3.73 will get worse mpg than 4.30s when towing heavy. What is your FTE username? I am not on the site yet, but i may join soon.

Yeah I would think the mileage should go up. What size tires are you running? You're not running stock tired right? For comparison I'm running 35s on my 2013 power wagon with 4.55 gears and I hand calculated 13.6 mpg around town on my last tank.

Not a member on FTE (I think you have to pay). Just searched the archives.
Stock tire size. A/T tires not mudders (BFG KO2s). :confused3:
