Loader BX26 / Loader max lift capacity @ 24"

1300# is the correct number but I doubt you could get a 36" diameter rock into the bucket even if you could lift it. 24" maybe, but you would still have an issue getting it into the bucket and keeping it there. I recently tried to move a rock for my neighbor that was about 18x18x24" and my B26 wouldn't lift it. I had to use my LS to haul it. I was able to shove the rock up against a tree in order to scoop it into my B26 FEL but then it wouldn't lift, only curl. I had to then dump it and go get my larger tractor. The B26 is a great little tractor, but is limited in the lift capacity.

Thank you, this is exactly the information I was looking for. Going bigger doesn't do me much good as I'd have to rent a machine for each end of the trip and that makes it not worth the cost. Looks like I need to come up with a way to skid/winch them onto and off of my trailer without any equipment.

Rock wont fit in the bucket well. Puts you further from the bucket and even less capacity.

I agree you need to rent a skidloader and get some pallet forks with it for the big rocks.

L39- L45

A 24" spherical rock will weigh 600-700 lbs, which a B26 would handle easily, but you're right, a 36" diameter rock will exceed 2,000 lbs. You'd either have to bust up the bigger boulders or get bigger equipment.
Alternatively, you could rent a skid steer or track steer instead of a tractor. Much stronger hydraulics, rental probably shouldn't cost much more than that B26. For that matter, you can rent one of those telescoping boom 4wd forklifts that lifts 6,000 lb for something like $365/day from Sunbelt.

Please look at Photo's

These will lift about 3000# off ground or more.

That looks like a lot more than 3000# unless your rocks weigh much less per cubic foot than mine. Have you boosted up the pressure on your L39 tractor?

As for moving large rocks that you cant lift, I have skidded them by getting the FEL bucket lip under them and just using the bucket as a skid to slide them to a remote location where they are out of sight and out of mind.
