Looks like a beast. Best of luck keeping it clean!

I processed up some firewood using a different method then usual. I seen some guys here use pallets so I made up 5 pallets which hold 20 percent of a cord each. Once 5 are filled I have a cord and my manual wood handling is done. I use my logging winch to winch the trees in close to the tractor where I process up the wood and put the peaces in the boxes. I can trailer the boxes out or use the forks on the loader. Using this method, the wood stays clean and there is less handling. I have a video of the operation on youtube.

Nice video. The pallets should save you a lot of work.

I see where 94bullet is the forms contributor of the month. Congrats.....Well deserved.

Mega-dittoes!!!

Thanks for the kind words. I got member of the month a while back. They have not done another one since then.

Hi Andy,

That's real pretty- can I ask where you bought it?

I would love to have one, but I don't think we do near enough wood to need or use one to its potential.

Safe cutting,
Thomas

I got it from woodward crossings country basic

looks like a farmi. Man you will love that. One word of advice is when you winch in the tree and you are going to snig it out, attach the tractor end of the choker chain to the chain holder slots. Locking the main cable for snigging puts strain on the cable causing it to dig into itself so the next time when free wheeling the cable out, it will jams.

On a side note does it have remote control?

I like that dump trailer 94Bullit. I'm looking for one, but need one that's narrower. Looking for about 4'x8' 1.5 - 2.0 ton capacity. Will be used primarily in the woods, but it would be nice if it were street legal, so I could make short runs over the road (Usually less than 10 miles, on secondary roads). Walking arm suspension would be nice, but I'm not sure if I've ever seen one that is street legal. I'd just go with a single axle, if I had to. Elecro-hydraulic dump would be nice to have, so I could still operate the dump when I didn;t have my tractor (with its hydraulics) handy.

CAM used to make one called the "Woodsman" that was pretty close to my needs for my needs: 4' x 8', narrow enough to go through the woods easily, rated for 3500#. I don't know if they were street legal, though. At any rate, they are no longer made.

Any suggestions?

Got it pushed together and lit again for the third time. It started out much larger.
