Good morning!!!!

Good morning from a roughed up North Bluff. 76 heading to 88 no rain.

Fun few days up north and I am glad I left. I went north after the mini tornado we had here on Wednesday night. We did okay but the 2 neighbors houses got hit and in Seneca 4 high power towers from the nuke plant got knocked down or twisted up like pretzels and a farm down the road about a mile lost all of their out buildings and bins.
The people down the lane had half dozen of their church people or people they knew over there yesterday and they still did not get much done. Most were looking at the others to see how to get out of doing anything. Blue tarp over the hole in the house roof. I took all of the junk on the driveway and picked it up that they were just driving over. His shed out behind the house is flat.

Wife and I have lots of down tree trash to pick up before I can mow so that is the plan for today. She spent the time I was gone helping the other neighbor who got hit clean up their place. You can see a trench through the tree tops in their woods where the twister ripped the tops off of the trees as it came over. We were lucky it was not worse. Brain got good use out of his new Grapple on the BobCat.

Neighbor Butch came over last night and gave me some post was Lionel train stuff for watching his place when he was gone. No number on the steamer and no tender for it so I don't know what it is, but the passenger set is a 616-617-618 Flying Yankee Streamline Train Set from the 30s that needs a lot of work in the motor. I will need to post a picture of the steamer to see if some guys on the train forum can ID it.
Best get going.
Have a good day.
I will have to catch up later, too much to do here for now.

Don. That's a lot of washing. Hope you found where it was deposited.

Someone downstream has a new sand beach. It's not on my property anymore.

Another 10ft deep of erosion before the red clay appears. If I can't stop the erosion, the pond will drain out, but it will take another spring rain like we just had before the erosion creeps to the lip of the pond which is about 50 yards away.

Ed, my EGO hedge trimmer was delivered Saturday and yesterday I went through two batteries, I love it also. My Ego collection now also includes the weed eater, mower, and blower. I think the only thing left is the chainsaw.

Good morning, Sunny heading to the high 90s.

I have a mower, weed eater, blower and 3 chain saws. Don't think I will get any Ego replacements for them as they are all in great shape. Ed

Good evening all. 77F and partly cloudy this morning before heading to 97F (forecast was for 93) and moderate wind. 55% chance of showers with .01 inch accumulation actal was .8 in and we needed it. Got the lawn mowed before the rain, and covered the boat as well, take it out tomorrow or Wednesday. Got some consulting in need to deal with one sever that has become grid -locked.

Good morning. 20 lambs off to market before the rain came, so life was feeling pretty good this morning (ignoring the minor stuff, such as the UK financial market almost collapsing and the value of the pound plummeting to record low levels) as I caught up on TBN, only to find I have unintentionally upset Kev.
:confused3:

I simply share a few thoughts over breakfast and I enjoy this start to the day. With not being together, you don't get to see me nod my head, or smile, or whatever other expression is on my face as I read what you have done or are planning to do, so the usual human feedback is just not there. I feel I ought to tell Kev that his post about the tornado was fascinating (we very rarely have tornados in the UK) and would certainly have had a few words about that, but too late now he has gone. So to everyone else, I would simply like to say, if you do have a minute or two to spare each day, or whenever, please keep going.
