Vertical Exhaust on JD 1025R

The exhaust blowing out the bottom on the left side drove me nuts with the soot on the frame etc and it still seemed to be able to blow up in my so I could smell it. I put this vertical exhaust extension together. The top elbow is just slip on so it comes off for close to tree work or can be directed to take advantage of the wind. I had thought about running true vertical out the side, through the panel and up but this version 1 is a good test. So far so good.

That's a good quick exhaust. I've been wanting to do a vertical exhaust too but haven't had the time yet.

I can't figure out why the thumbnails do that? Mac thing? At least they straighten out when u click on them.

Not for me. When I click on them, they're still on the wall only bigger.

I put a turn down on my 2720, so it blows at the ground and the stink all went away. I HATED the stock exhaust outlet tho, it blew in front of the tractor and then i sucked it all in.

I thought about that but I have visions of a nice plume of exhaust going up in the air in the -25 in the winter going across the yard. I know, OCD.

THANK YOU ! You have a great solution. I have the snowblower on for the winter and the exhaust ends up melting the snow in the blower on the left side and makes it hard to clean it up when I put it away between snowfalls. It's a 2018 and will be 2 years old in January 2020. I will print the pictures so that I make it as good as you've made yours.
