Any odds on these Rock Tongs working?

I have a feeling it's to keep the tongs from closing completely up. Looks like the tongs are helping to some degree.

That is a very unusual hairy rock. How old is she?

Rock knome. Very illusive. They usually come when I sleep to add rock. I must of caught this one by surprise.

Cool, nice job. What is the C-clamp for?

Bilrog is correct. If they swing shut the bind a little. Clamp is a quick fix until im sure I won't change the pivot piont.

Very nice - really like it. Simple and effective!
I was thinking of building up a set for my mini ex and really am interested in your future refinements.
I have a hydro thumb but for placing them I like the idea of being able to rotate them easily without having to scratch them up as much!

Are you using a ring or loop to attach it to the bucket? Do you happen to have a photo you would share?

I would like to have a swiveling shackle but don't own one. I chained to the top of the grapple so I could roll the grapple back for transport.

Then roll it forward and have about 4ft of chain to twist.

Funny you have rocks everywhere and I am driving to all my neighbors digging out rocks in the woods so we can build walls and such at the house..... I have great neighbors to give me rocks, around us they are tough to get!
