Wow Dick ... I didn't know you were his protector, and I certainly didn't think my request would even create a need for that response from you. Just like he says, I'm interested in real like reviews also. He's a real, end-user. As someone interested in a product, I'm less likely to believe the companies propaganda than a real users' true-use review. I can find a way to make a butter knife go thru a rotten stump. Shoot, I can even make my PTO grinder look like a total hero, or a failure, depending on the working conditions (stump type, etc).

It's strange that this thread somehow turned the way it did. It was going good up until recently.

If you do want to take a video, you don't need anyone to help, just do as I did in my last post and setup your cell phone on another stump or whatever and hit play.

Of course, there is no obligation to do so, just that people following this thread and not chiming in, would also likely be interested in a video.

Regardless, I think it's great that this grinder is working out well. I love that there are more options out there. The more the better! Thanks for your excellent write ups and reports so far!

I'd never seen one like this and for the price it seems like a reasonable investment for a landowner.

I agree... That's why I'd like to see it in action by an end-user. It's small and more compact... If it truly works, it would be easier for me to toss on the truck and bring along to jobs should the need pop up. And like Piston said, simply prop up your camera and let it record you. Our have someone with hands and a pulse point the camera at you. Even if they are not a talented videographer, they can at least help us see a real, user demonstration.

Since I don't have a stump grinder but need one badly, I am interested in actual user feedback too and I told Woodland as much this morning. I'm only having about a 50% success rate with my backhoe, even with the ripper on it, but this thing would likely improve my batting average quite a bit. Best part is, it's affordable for a homeowner.

I'd like to see video of you using this grinder on your JD SCUT

Why are you getting defensive? I'd really like to see video of your JD SCUT using this grinder in action. From your long description of it, it sounds like it works really well on your machine, and I'm looking forward to seeing it work.

So you don't have a single other living person near you that can hold your cellphone camera pointed in your direction while you use this implement? Seems very suspicious. I'd really like to see this thing in action on your 18 PTO HP JD SCUT. I Might want to buy one for my tractor. Showing me stock pictures, or a "before & after" does little to demonstrate to the world how this unit actually operates under load. And not for nothing, but your overly detailed and technical description of the implement sounds as if you are a salesman for the company, not an actual end user.

I'm truly interested in this product... I'm always buying new implements, especially if I discover one that works better than something I currently have. That's why I'd like to see your JD SCUT operating this machine on a real life stump.

Look, TSO you're anonymous. You project an alter-ego on this board and attempt to inflate it with associations and equipment description you likely lack. You have taken on a territorial proprietorship over posts and resent a perceived newbie from receiving any attention on matters of substance. As you are anonymous, you have no substance, but thought you might gain some by creating a "suspicion". Who should give a flyin' F if an anonymous poster with a "stage identity" is suspicious or not? I reported what I purchased and what I did with it. There were no bystanders. So until you have a real identity, not an invented one, and post sales reciepts for the equipment that you allege that you own, you are ignored.

I went and looked at this stump grinder when I went to pick up the trailer that I just bought from them yesterday. It is a serious piece of equipment. Very well-built, and very sturdy, and a great idea! If I had the stumps I would've bought it in a heart beat.

Any thoughts on how a gear/shuttle tractor would handle this? I'm worried that even with ePTO at 1900rpm in low gear, forward speed would be too quick and it would be a constant battle with feathering the clutch.
