My 2015 RTV 1100C is very sluggish especially when you cut the AC on. Is anyone else experiencing this with the cab model I have had a 2006 900 RTV and a 2014 RTV 1120D and both of them had more power, dealer has came and got it once and made some adjustments it is a little better but still very sluggish. Dealer says it is where the cab is heavier, any suggestions?

A/C does rob a little power but I would not call my experience as being sluggish, I do need to slow down going up a hill to my house in the summertime with the A/C on that in the winter I keep it to the floor. I swear I can tell a difference in the motor when I switched to syn 5w-40 oil, at least it starts a lot easier.

Has it always been this way or did it become sluggish after some period of time? I would make sure air and fuel filters are good.

My '14 RTV-X1100C improved when I switched the trans fluid to the Kubota UDT Synthetic. Still no hot rod but it made a difference. They are heavy, empty they weigh as much as most UTV's weigh fully loaded. I change engine oil and ALL filters every 100 hours.

Were all the Kubota's you had with a hydraulic transmission? I ask because they are quite power hungry.

I have the Kubota RTV-X1100C (cab). It has slightly less power going up steep hills with the A/C on. It was more noticeable when new and is much better now that it is broken in. With the HST transmission, it is best to let up on the throttle a little as opposed to jamming the foot pedal to the floor when going up steep hills when more power is needed. It's just the nature of HST transmissions. This is the opposite of how you operate a car or truck when more power is needed.

Thanks for this info, I didn't know that. So far that's been my only real complaint about my RTV 500, no power on the hills. Clearly I need to experiment some with proper driving techniques.
