/ Single Lid CUT Wicked Grapple..If your compact tractor could talk.... #141
I just bought a wicked 50" grapple for my bobcat CT230 and I am spending the afternoon hooking up the WP Law hydraulic kit. Can anyone:
1. Recommend the best place to tap the hot (red) wire into?
2. The 90 degree connector that goes into the power beyond on the loader valve had two washers sandwiching a rubber o ring. Do I screw it in with both washers on there or is one an extra?

Thanks
Bryan

Hey Bryan,

I just ordered our 50" Grapple today & I'm in the same position as you - installing the 3rd function kit.

1)
As I understand it the CT230 is basically a White Kioti CK30 - and - the CK30 & CK35 are the same tractor - so I picked up power for our set-up from a 2 pin connector taped up at the rear of the tractor. It's on the right hand side where the wire loom is clipped to the frame and it's connected to the 15A "Customer Use" fuse in the fuse box.
(It's harder to describe than it is to find)
I'm thinking you should have something similar.

2)
I decided to go the scratch built route for our 3rd function (so far I am only partially regretting that decision LOL) so I don't have knowledge of the specific fitting(s) in the WR Long kit - but the adapters I bought have the adapter body, a washer, and an exposed black O-Ring - no second washer.

My advice is to call the guys at EA and ask. They will know for sure and are super nice to deal with.

Good Luck & happy grappling.

1. I don't know of a best place. People have connected them to an ignition wire or hot spot in the fuse box.

2. If you post a pic of the connector, we'll be able to tell.

Oh, and here's some eye candy for you as you're waiting for the grapple!

I know, right!

I was surprised by the fast opening/closing cycles this little BX produced.
I posted a short clip on our EA Facebook Video Page.

This is my favorite pic.
