Advice for ballast on BX2370

95% of the time loaded tires are all that are needed on a bx. If soil or gravel is moved you may want to use a blade on the three point hitch, A ballast box is a waste of money. I strap a 15 gal spray tank to my lift arms on the back to spray my garden sounds like you could to.

how many gallons does a BX tire hold?

I'm having the rear tires filled and wheel weights added to my BX2370 next week (4/27).

I bought 20 gallons of washer fluid. I out in 10 and still fit almost a gallon of water more in each one until it burped out fluid. Mine are turfs, ags and R4s may take less.

I just had the G8100A wheel weights and RimGuard installed installed on my BX2370 yesterday.

Only drove it around a little, but it already feels like a difference.

I have the QH05 & GS1548 also.

It did sort of seem like where the BX2370 used to run out of traction before, now it runs out of power instead. Still figuring it out.

I think I can go with the Kubota wheel weights for about 30 per side. In order to load the tires I'd have to find someone to do it. I'm in the part of town where estate houses have pushed out the farms, and the supply stores seem to have been replaced by Walmart & King Soopers.

I did see that King Kutter makes a three point carry-all. I'm getting the BX-specific Land Pride QH05 quick hitch, so swapping implements on the back won't be too bad. I could probably rig that carry-all to hold some heavy blocks, and then take it off when the time to mow comes around.

I am considering RimGuard for my BX2670 rear turfs. I can get them filled for $75. Will I have any issues mowing with them filled. It's a mower 95% of the time, but I use the loader often with forks, blade, and bucket, and despise hooking up to the ballast box. I think mowing the ditch with loaded tears would be better, but will it actually be more tippy?

Thanks. I hope it doesn't mess up mowing. I rarely have wet spots that I would sink in, so looks like a winner.
