Has anyone mentioned that it could be for the Draft Control lever yet?

The knob below the 3pt control is just a adjustable stop. It's not draft control. Draft conrol is usually another lever next to the 3pt position control. When pulling a plow & you encounter a rock or really hard dirt, it will put a huge load on the 3pt & end up causing the toplink to push into the tractor really hard. The tractor side mount is attached to an override lever that will cause the 3pt to lift up automatically so that you can keep going past the obstacle, then automatically lower back down when past the hard stuff. The draft control lever enables this functionality & how sensitive it is to increased pressure.
I hear it's also handy for similar funcationality on box blades. Will lift the box a bit when you are about to loose traction if you have it properly adjusted.
