Someone claimed to have seen a black bear on the farm around thirty years ago. My dad took my son to see the tracks so, I guess it's so. I've never seen one here. Maybe the fire ants ate them.

Not sure where you are in the upstate, but we are in Northern Anderson County and the neighbors have captured a black bear on their wildlife cam more than once.
