Daughter just commented last night in the yard how many spiders there are. They are all over the kids slides and toys. She cleans them off so the grand kid can play, they are back it seems within a few hours. I thought the tics would be bad this year listening to the news in the spring, but they have not bothered dog or cat or humans.

My coworkers were kidding me yesterday saying I should move to Tucson, it would help my allergies. I'm not sure I could handle the heat and bugs. Guess if I move that far south, I might just go ahead on down the Mexico and get some ocean front property to enjoy...

hawkeye08 I have traveled to most areas in N. Mex. and Ariz. a little Calif. Was planning to retire and live along the Gila river North of Silver City N.Mex. Summer not to hot and winters rather mild . But my parents health and my needing to make a living caused me to live here. in the Ozarks.
Now retired and my wife and my age causes our children's concern when we away for week end.

Tucson north of the city toward Oracle Junction also not bad year round weather. Now the area where Jim lives is getting closer to desert temp most of the time. (West of a national park and East of Indian reservation)
If thinking of retiring there consider to get a camper and stay a while in area then visit or go to another. set up camp and travel looking with consideration your health and family needs.

Jim this Sister of yours was she the one used to work at Cliff/Gila groc. store or due you have more family close by.

I always leave good spiders alone as much as I can to keep other insects in check. Heck, I catch them inside the house and place them outside near the house.

Tin her husbands mother & I think 2 sisters are still there. One of the sister owned or ran the little store. Thin it went broke & is closed now.
She worked there part time. her real job was with Philips Dodge. Naming new calves & keeping up on the count. PD only raised cattle to get the water rights for the mine. It is also now shut down. Went through there several years ago, but don't remember much about it.

Spiders I don't worry about.
Think I am going to have to get a new computer. Some kind of up grade to chrome, I want it to stay the same, Now the only program that works is the internet & it is doing screwy things Her on TBN.

Another strange thing there is an old blue toilet out in the yard, termites actually broke some of the bottom off. It will not even stand up anymore.

More later

I hate spiders... and it is a banner year here for them in the PNW. Some say they are good and I will buy the whole ecosystem argument. I still hate spiders especially inside... or even hanging around the outside of the house. Problem is... I don't do anything to eradicate them wherever they hang out. Did I mention I hate spiders?

got computer back to near normal. Just turned it off & back on.
Sort of screwed up a few things. Did solve the problem of a new computer.

Quick trip to almost town.
Got beer, went to PO & got my new flags, needed some flashlights & bread, got that done. Bobby girl went along.
Stopped & saw Jan, caught up on new gossip. Not much new. Muslems have moved in next door. Hate her & all white people.
Male out prison & still on parole. Isn't that just great????

Now on too newest problem. Water leak under sink, not that simple it's under the cabinet floor. work on it tomorrow.

The computers now seem to go into standby instead of shutting down completely which means a reboot should be done every few days. A real power off will so the same.

As for bugs, we had a dry year in the Northeast so the bug population is almost non-existent. There are lots of moths and spiders, hardly any mosquitoes and I don't think I've seen a tick all year. I'm not complaining.

Jim,

Thanks folks, I had (in my mind Whats left of it.) the wrong day.

Today was pretty normal.
Go light hot water heater, Nope no light, turn on stove, no light. Change tanks, takes forever to get heater going.
Start tractor.

By now it is getting real hot.
Nothing, turn on key, plenty of battery. look, look closer, wire broken, insulation rock hard, grt wires bared, twist together,
hear it click, try magic starter, nothing, wire now too small to spin starter.

truck need 1 more repair, red neck patch on muffler rotted off long ago. With truck stopped AC sucks up exhaust. Stinks as well as not so healthy.

Time for a beer & think about things.

Thanks again,
Jim
