Toasted tomato,bacon and cheese. Tomato butter is a recipe I was recently told about and it is to die for. 2 pounds of tomatoes skinned, 5 tablespoons of unsalted butter and 1 medium yellow onion cut in half. Simmer until reduced to a nice sauce thickness and salt to taste. Put it on pasta, pork, chicken or what ever you like. A super easy recipe and delicious.

If I am going to put some slices of tomato between two slices of bread, with mayo/salad dressing/MW/Walmart Brand/What Ever, I want some thick sliced bacon and some green lettuce in there with those tomatoes.

In fact, white bread with the white stuff (from the list above) on both slices of bread, a small amount of lettuce, a nice amount of thick sliced peppered bacon somewhere between chewy and crispy, and nice thick slice of tomato!

I just ordered some heirloom seeds last night. Since I live in Florida, I still have time to plant them this year :licking:

We don't need anything with the tomatoes we're growing this year. It's a perfect balance between tartness & sweetness and the juice is incredible.

We planted 6 starts, but 9 more volunteers came up from last year and have absolutely exploded with growth.

Averaging 2-3 pounds a day, and the cherries haven't even come on yet.
