Looking at buying a brand new CK2510HST

To the OP, if possible you need to test the CK2510 and CK2610. I originally went to the dealer with full intentions of purchasing the CK2510, it was fully capable of taking care of my 3.5 acres, after testing the two different sized tractors the CK2610HST was the obvious choice for me. At 6' tall and around 280 lbs. I felt cramped on the 2510, but it may not be an issue with you.

I don't doubt the operator station on the 2610 is a bit bigger. The 2510 is roughly the same size as the former CK20 though and I did fine sitting in a CK20 at 6'5" and 230. Agree however that you have to fit comfortably. And the one thing I never really got used to was the single pedal HST. I lived with it and it worked fine but the position was awkward for me.

The loader for the CK2510 is now shipping with a QA plate standard.
As stated other places here, the CK2510 is a larger HP version of the CK20/CK20S with upgraded steering, dual hydro pump, new hood and a slightly wider front axle.
The CK2610/3510/4010 are replacements for the CK25/27/30/35. The CK2610 tractor is identical the the 3510 and 4010 except for the engine.
The engine in the CK2610 is the same as the engine in the older CK35, but has been detuned.
The loader for the CK2610 has different specs than the CK3510/4010 loader as it is a different loader.
All current model Kioti tractors now come standard with QA plates except the CS2210/2410/2510.

Given that, I'd stick with my "bang for the buck" leader the CK2510 at least on a 3 acre plot without lots of heavy lifting. My CK20 did great work and I didn't upgrade it to the DK40se until I had an additional 15 acres to clear. I still miss the CK20 which is obviously far more maneuverable and usable around dwellings and in forest.

FWIW, there are many threads comparing the pros and cons of the CK20 vs CK25/30 in the archives here. I'll sum it up by saying that owners all loved whichever one they had. Only real reason I would favor the CK2510 for the OP's indication is that it is easily sufficient for his purposes and would save quite a bit of money that could be put towards implements. Newbies talk horsepower, experienced CUT owners talk implements.;)

I love my CK20S HST for that very fact, it may be compact, but it packs alot of heart into it's little package.
I debate all the time about selling both tractors I have and purchasing a big unit.
Then I need to get into a tight spot and realize I would have a really hard time giving up the little CK

Exactly. It is a mighty mite of a tractor. Other than the stupid two speed hydro (why on earth did Kioti not upgrade that???) which was an annoyance, I'd really not change anything. The loader was powerful enough to easily lift beet juice loaded rears and a 48" bush hog off the ground when digging stumps. Zero complaints about performance. If I could afford a second tractor that is exactly what I'd buy again. I've even left it as my avatar out of loyalty!

I almost bought a CK20 but after looking at options etc I went for the Ck30 HST and have been very happy with it. Did a lot of landscaping on my property great work horse. I call it more like the middle tractor e.g. not too big for around the yard and buildings and not to small to get the work done. Was also told right size for re sale value but hoping to keep it as long as I can.

I'm sure I would have been happy with a CK30 too even though the CK20 was fine for me. The only thing I really wanted out of the CK30 was the three range hydro. Still don't understand why Kioti doesn't use that in the CK2510. I think Kubota finally moved from 2 to 3 range hydro in their B series and thought Kioti would follow. Too bad they didn't.

I'll just chime in on the 3 speed HST...I spend 80% of my time in the Middle gear. Low for real heavy work and High just to get from point A to point B quickly. IMHO...the three ranges are really nice to have. My B Series is a 2006.

I agree. That is really my only knock on the otherwise superb CK20/CK2510. It may not make quite as much difference for the CK2510 which has more hp but the main issue for me was mowing. I am in a hilly area and I couldn't mow uphill in high range. My strategy was to mow uphill in low and then downhill in high. Pretty frustrating. Low is a real grunt gear and very necessary so just changing the ratio wouldn't help. I would almost have preferred to have low and medium range with no high as I almost never travel on the road but I could see that high is necessary for general use.
