I would need to have another motor as I would have torn it off by now just getting it to the woods. Four way wedge needs a little upwards angle preventing the piece from getting trapped downwards by the horizontal. Looks great and the supply of Ash should keep you busy. Paint can wait, but it was 82 degrees in Defiance Ohio. One more warm day and then painting outside may be over.

Your splitter looks good. You may want to add some sort of adjustability to the rear foot, the ground won't ever be as level as the shop floor.
the next one I build I want to do the adjustable 4 way instead of the slip on one I have now.

With the splitting table behind the axle, you will find a need for a rear stand.

Looking good. Next Spring we'll refire this thread with the changes you found that you need. :)
