Sunday noise

Dan, Dan, Dan, we all know civilized people prefer Hydros to old fashioned gear gnashing! Shave, take a bath and get a hydrostatic drive!:D

I don't grind gears, I learned how to operate the transmission correctly so I don't need an HST. HST is for the agility challenged.:D:D:D :stirthepot::devil:

BTW, I took a shower AND shaved on Sunday so I am good for the week!:laughing::laughing::laughing:

Later,
Dan

I have 2 with hydros and one with a Peerless, I must say, the gear tranny does the best wheelies!

I think some of you guys have been into the grog...:D

It would be interesting to hear what you all feel is the most irritating bothersome noise you get at home.
Please don't talk about your wife...;)
So perhaps at least the worst of the noises should be subdued on Sunday.

I love train noises too. As an ex fireman, I worry a bit about what they are carrying. My local train track is at least a mile away.
Enough time for me to get away from the cloud of chlorine coming my way when the whole thing overturns...
But I watch enough train videos on YouTube to make me appreciate what I'm hearing at least.

wonder if we each got put into an anechoic chamber, all you hear is your breathing and your heart, absolute silence, and compare that to waiting in a waiting room with soft classical music in the background. I'll take the noise.

As a bird lover, I would like to hear them as much as possible. Anything that masks the birds is at issue in a private setting.
Bottom line is I don't have enough land to get that kind of noise privacy.
And sound sure carries.

If I could ban one single noise for all of eternity it would be leaf blowers. Second would be incessantly barking dogs. Not just a bark here and there, but you know what I mean...those dogs that just never stop. I would like for the owners of the leaf blowers and the dogs to be confined to the same purgatory of irritating noises.

Loud motorcycles and cars would be third. I love hearing them at the racetrack but they have no business on the street. My car has a low growl. No big deal. But if I can hear it in my house over the TV it is too loud. Pure unadulterated self absorbed obnoxiousness which indicates either an anatomical (hypogonadism) or psychological (latency/ego) deficiency.

Now get off my lawn.
