Oh the Government is definitely hiding something from you. What was that movie where Tom Cruise was the Navy Lawyer and Jack Nickelson was the Commanding Officer when Jack said "You Can't Handle The Truth"??? We individually have varied positions in that regard. None of us can completely handle it.

I have my assumptions as we all do. Can't be anything else until proven one way or the other. But I stop short of calling anyone's opinions "UFO nut balls".

Guess that all depends on what you mean by "you". If "you" means the atoms in your body then your statement is untruth. The atoms will be reused by the Universe to eternally create and recreate new things. In that context we will all "live" forever.

IMO...The universe (as well as we know it) is way too big (understatement) to believe we are unique and the only orb with life that has the power of reason...

The kooks that say they have been abducted, implanted etc...are as bad as the bigfoot goofballs...there is not a modicum of physical evidence of either...

As for a supreme being...(religion is like politics)...heck...even us humans can't settle on a single creed...seems like if there was such an omnipotent...they could/would lead us to compatibility...i.e., no "holy wars" etc., etc...

To wax a little more philosophical...
As pointed out by rekees...we are all nothing but carbon and trace element atoms...but our conscious is controlled by electricity > ENERGY...and energy cannot be destroyed (or created for that matter (no pun intended))...

IMO, It (life, and everything else) is all about energy... if you understand ( or at least get the gist of) the 'String Theory'...it can explain a lot of things generally associated with some aspects of (extreme) spirituality...it also bridges the chasm between science and religion...!

If you mean "god" as far as Christianity goes I have some severe issues with what I grew up being taught to believe...

Why is is that most religions demand that their creed is the only route to salvation/eternal life etc., etc....??
I simply can't believe that an entity so powerful...to be able to grant "everlasting life" would rely on human/mortal missionaries to open the opportunity for salvation to the rest of the world which is mostly NON Christian...
What I do believe in is energy both positive and negative...it explains everything...!
