2013 7010, tie rod ends worn out, 800 hrs. Anyone else see this? Little package is coming today,$ 800-900. I'm trying so hard to like this tractor.

Sorry to hear this. LS should have made the tie rods ends with grease fittings. I noticed that mine doesn't have fittings either. Sad to say but the automotive industry has gone the same way. You've got me thinking. Maybe there is a way I can drill, tap, and add grease fittings to mine.

Good idea, hopefully the replacements will have fittings, actually I have to replace the tie rod end, and the short shaft that ends in a joint that's attached to the steering cylinder, that joint has even more play than the tie rod end, I could see them moving back and forth as I drove.

I just went outside and looked at mine and no fittings either. I have 450 hours and no discernible play. Is there a condition or scenario that contributes or accelerates wear such as running/turning in FWD on pavement? Do you have R1 or R4 tires? Thanks!

Did quite a bit of road driving, all in the winter which should be more forgiving. Seems a lot of wear for ( to me ) a new tractor. My 91 Kubota with 4x the hours did much more and has never been touched, but no doubt plowing snow and travelling has taken it's toll. It just kills me to buy parts for a "new" piece of equipment.

At least you could get yours. I broke the tie rod tube on my xg 3025. It is back ordered from Korea. I was able to repair it.

Is this the same tractor that had the front hub failures or am I thinking of someone else? I think the ends could be drilled and tapped. Wonder on the metal shavings.

This is the tractor that's had the hub replacements, but all this present wear are on parts external to the hub, no contact with shavings.

I have a 2014 with 300 hrs. Haven't noticed any slack in the tie rods... I have noticed that they are sealed though.

LS mechanics replaced both hubs today on my 2012 7010. They are replacing all of them under warranty. Mine were fine but nice to get the latest upgrade done. I have close to 900 hours on the tractor. The tie-rod ends the mechanics had with them today had grease fittings. I am going to drill mine to help extend their life.
