Do you actually have the "flagged" option still? All I have is the "prohibited" option which seems to do nothing.

They are not all as obvious as some that have been noted. I found a tractor the other day that looked like a really good deal and the add looked really legit. I texted them about the tractor since that is how they asked to be reached. I asked them to call me.
They texted back and said give me your email and they would send all the information.. .at that point I know... SCAM! I said tell me which tractor I have looked at so many.. they didn't respond. Be careful.. Bottom line.. if they won't talk on the phone tell them to take a hike.

It also works if you want to find all instances of a scam to flag every instance, nationwide.
Try Searchtempest. It has two styles for results, one may group results the way you want.

Come on guys, i'm just trying to get some Christmas money:confused3: I have "prohibited" a couple here this week, they disappear when i hit the back button.
I've had some good results from CL on buying & selling, had to put up with a few flakes as well, they're pretty easy to figure out.
Fortunately i have about everything i need or want & wonder why i buy things that cause me to work more:duh:

Yesterday I noticed there was another flood of new looking compact tractors on Craigslist with an asking price of only $2002. I don't remember what I gave for my tractor, but with options it was something like $16-17 thousand. After I got that tractor my dad use to call to let me know he saw one just like it on Craigslist for only $1800 and I could have saved over $15,000 by buying a good used one. I'd look at it, explain to him it's a scam and how that works. Then the next time he saw another tractor that looked like mine he would call me again.

I actually responded to one of those ads with a throw-away email. It was fun. The 'seller' responded and explained that SHE was getting a divorce and the tractor was given to her in the settlement.
She further explained that - in her words - "since she was female, she obviously didn't have a use for it and didn't know anything about it."
That scammer needs to meet some of the farm gals I know.

If you want to screw with the scammers for fun go to 419 Eater - The largest scambaiting community on the planet!. They screw with all kinds of scammers. You want to use a throwaway email and not give the scammer any real life details of course.
