Although I tolerate the barking, I DO NOT tolerate jumping on a vehicle. Once in awhile he'll sneak in a quick "tire pee" but he knows to not let me catch him at it.

Mike, you show up anytime you like.

One of these days on a Colorado trip I'm gonna stop and see you. Maybe I can get some of those home grown veggies. :D

Where is Lowell in all this doggie talk? He has two Dalmatians that stay close to him wherever he goes....Guess that is a carry over from his Volunteer Fire fighting days.

It sure would be nice to see you guys some time....just have to get off my butt and travel.

If Terry and I go to Colorado next Summer we'll contact you. We go West out of KC on I70 so I know we are close to you.

Lowell keeps a pretty low profile. And keeps very good track of his dogs.

I think the problem with people and their dogs is that people need to realize that NOBODY thinks your dog is as cute as you do no matter how friendly it may be. I can't stand going in a store and seeing someone with their dog unless it's a service dog.

I have had the "sweetest" dogs knock my children down, jump up on me, scratch my car and bite me - I agree "keep the dog on your property". I have 30 acres, I moved here to get away from people with all their "people problems" - dogs, loud car stereos, music blaring from their homes, kids running around. :soapbox: I'm done

Pit Bulls make great pets for children and are all sweet and biddable!

And none of their owners buy them for any other reason!

IMHO, only licensed breeders should be allowed to breed dogs. All other dogs should be nuetered or spayed, period. Breeding fees paid by licensed breeders should go to spay and nueter clinics and dog control officers. Loose dogs should be picked up and forwarded to shlelters. Eventually, most of this BS would go away.

So more taxes and a monopoly on dogs?

More government control!
The 10% without a clue need the government to tell them what to do.
The other 90% need to go along with it so the 10% do not feel like they do not have a clue.

What about cats? They say that feral and stray cats kill a lot of game birds. I'm of the opinion that we need less laws not more. I'm already under the governments thumb in too many ways as it is. Don't Tread On Me!

If we're going to start requiring licenses for breeding things I'd require one for people first. Of course I'm being sarcastic.

A very hefty fine for offenders letting their animals roam should be sufficient if enforced.

Government dependency results in leaches and millions of them, heck if the government gave me free stuff all the time I could look forward to doing nothing and having the government give me free stuff.... wait it's not free, non of it is, government is extremely wasteful, throwing money at countries who don't even like us when we have our own starving and needy.

I don't mind paying taxes, I like to drive 70mph+ on a smooth road into work, I like my lights to be on and I love that I can decide where I want to live and what I want to buy.

I absolutely can not see government being as helpful as people think, it would be horrible.

Free enterprise is the way to go not government control.

Government works for us, not the other way around, they only exist because of the people. Frankly they are a poor representation of America, I have talked and get along with many people from all over the world that think Americans are selfish, mean and hateful people he'll bent on global dominance, were poorly represented.
