Wouldn't it work better if you turn the shank over?

Lmbo. I was using the three center ones due to grass and mud getting wedged in the outer ones.

Ya I am gonna end up disking it to get it where I want it. I did not want to go buy a chisel plow. (I'm cheap,) It is not near as deep or probably efficient as a chisel plow would have been, but I had the box blade so I used it. In the end, it did well.

Here is my +1 use for the 4' box blade:

Gather up some rocks and push them into the bucket on the Toolcat.

I used mine as a 3 snaggle tooth ice buster on the driveway. With one snaggle tooth down its also a good 2' rock popper.

I put ours to work yesterday. I keep 40 acres up for a man who moved to Kansas City and has this land for sale. He lets me hunt there. We had a bad storm a while back and got 4" of rain one day. The pipe washed pretty bad in the creek. He had rip rap rock packed around both ends of the pipe and the rain washed most of it down the creek. Had a guy haul in 2 dump truck loads of busted concrete so I fixed the road with the box blade and bucket and moved the concrete down the hill. It was about 45 scoops in the loader. The road is packed anyway, lol. Now the man is coming with the trackhoe to fix pipe in creek with the concrete. These pictures don't do this hill justice. It's pretty steep. This is what I bought to use for a chisel plow- box blade without the box. It can be lowered to where the beam drags the ground, if you have the power to pull it that is. It works pretty good to up root rocks as long as I go slow when I hit the immovable one, nothing breaks.

Edit: the cost was less than $200 for this tool.
