Fuel Additives for Kubotas

I'm pretty sure everything I buy at the pump is bio. I think it's B10 but you never really know. I try and get pure diesel for winter but I can't always get it. You have to get it in bulk and I don't have a bulk take so I try and buy from friends.

Not saying it couldn't happen, but that's odd. I leave bottles of Howes out in minus 40*C and I've never seen them freeze or get thick?

I filled up a couple jugs from the car pump this past weekend. When I poured it into the tractor it looked greenish yellow gaining into the funnel. I'm used to using red and haven't paid much attention to 'clear' diesel but I must say I was wondering what was in the fuel that might be giving it it's color.

You bought "clear" on road diesel. No big deal, same product with a different color dye. You did pay road taxes on it which you wouldn't have to with red/off road fuel.

Understand that...it was a pi55 poor planing emergency on my part..I dis my yearly draining of the big tank and missed my refill....but I just don't remember clear having the greenish yellow color is all. Wondering if it's the unknown bio component or the additional refining for ulsd is what is giving it its tint.

Clear as in "water" clear?

no. a tint of yellow, but not a green yellow

Might see different coloration depending on provider.

I usually buy all my fuel oil at the gas station off the highway near my house, never had an issue with it, put a little Opti and PS in it and run with it
Most of the time I would call it almost as clear as tap water, sometimes slightly yellow like I mentioned
