Happy Christmas eve to all of you. Enjoy your friends & family while you can. They will be gone all too soon.

Tucson PO'S they are a lot better than a few years ago. At 1 time there were portable PO"S scattered around town. soon the good ones went to the elite neighborhoods & old junky ones in the less well off part of town. Main PO is another 20+ miles away, been there a few times. Hardly any business, go right to the counter & get business done. With almost every road & Hwy torn up & Improved (?) it sure makes traffic worse.
Every since getting a ticket, i"m now a pilgrim when it comes to driving. On that other thing, I told the lady after 7 years, it should expire. Her reply, had a I robbed a bank or kidnapped someone, that is correct. But this is a lawyer wanting money.
According to the news there are 500,000 injuries a year from people falling off a ladder. Doug & I should stay on the ground, both have balance problems. Hire some dummy I guess.:laughing:
I have had lots of friends & customers over the years both rich & poor. Some of them real nice & fun. Others cheap sore heads.
A family showed up in the store 1 day. These people looked like there were straight out of the Ozarks. Mom says I have 3 emeralds & want identical pins for my daughters. She hands me the emeralds, not so hot but green. We agree on a price> I ask how she came to have them. At that time 1 of the banks gave you an emerald for every account you opened for $10,000. Wow she had opened 3 accounts.
You may not know this, but there is hardly any weather west of the Mississippi river. Watch national news & you will see what I mean. Usually unless there is a major fire or flood, nothing happens in the west.
Another customer that became a friend, had a large grove of Madania nut trees in Rancho Santa FE. I didn't know it at the time. First time I met him he wanted a dozen fake diamonds, me thinks here comes a scam. He says I want to play a joke on some friends. But made the sale. He also invented a machine to crack them. ( If you have ever tried to crack them, there is a trick to it.) Ask me &* I will tell you what it is. Every year after that he would show up with a bag of chocolate covered nuts. later on if you remind me will tell you about his 2 daughters.
Have had other rich or famous customers may tell you about some of them in the future.
