Thanks, I added the expanded metal.Did your grapple come with the diamond mesh back or did you add it. Looks really nice like that.

We could easily leave it off by request, but i'm guessing you'll be the only one to request it!

There is a backstory to 94Bullitt's very special grapple. He has well, one of a kind.
Amen to that! He did a wonderful job, too!

I know this adds to your cost, but the bottom tines will get bent sideways with rock and root usage.
Two choices to remedy , make tines thicker, (You add weight, so maybe make them 1/8 thicker is a good compromise)
Or add stiffening ribs from 1/4" or max 5/16" thk SR 400 stock, minimal weight but extra parts and welding, fixturing, etc. will add to cost.
To avoid needing to press with a curve to fit the tine shape, make all the tines flat bottom on all the tines, same as the outboard tine.
It's not about cost, but every pound is crucial for a front attachment intended for subcompact tractors.
This 48" BX pin on grapple and the 54" version is intended for subcompact tractors and small compacts like the B series kubota.
The tines are AR400, so it shouldn't be an issue.
Gussets would negatively affect a small tractor's ability to use the tines efficiently.
If ruggedness is more attractive to a customer than weight savings, one could move up to our 50" Wicked Grapple.
