Re: Mahendra 1526 Vs Kubota L2501
Even the 3 Pt lift capacity of my Mahindra Max28, a small tractor, exceeds the larger Kubota L2501. I use the 3 Pt with a carry all to move all sorts of heavy items about, even with a 700 Lb counter weight. I pull a 6' Land Pride BB1572 for grading and it does a reasonable Job and Plow with the little tractor.
The 1526's FEL is a bit stronger than the Kubota's, but in reality the difference is minor. The Kubota's loader control should be smoother. The Kubota engines are generally torquey. Torque/HP ratio was better on my old little Kubota B7200DT than the new Max28. The old Kubota was a strong 16 net HP ,pulled well, but having 28 hp is nice.
Tough call, drive them both, compare features, dealer and finally pricing. Both are good machines at their price point.
Agree with the other posts comments. They are good assessments.
Hopefully I won't need the dealer much. If I need the dealer that means I bought a piece of junk that failed under warranty, but I agree this is an advantage of Kubota.
As for the heavy lift, it would be pallet moving very slowly and carefully not some massive farm implement I can't power. I really want the lift of a 50 hp tractor, but I only have the budget and property for a 25. I do have a forklift, but it's pavement only!
