More than likely a Bobcat skid steer or telehandler is going to last much longer than a chinese or korean tractor. Construction equipment is like large tractors, made to run thousands of hours. I'm not sure I would say the same about the CUT I had previously. Cheaper components like hoses, valves, are common on these machines and like they say "they don't build them like they used to" .
For moving bales or pallets of stuff along with mucking a skid steer is going to be tough to beat. Just much more maneuverable. Even a telehandler with 4 wheel steering is going to be much more maneuverable than a tractor.
If you are looking for a an alternative to a regular tractor you might check out some of the JCB tractors. They made a few different models similar to my 212SU and they have many features you won't find on most tractors such as 4 wheel steering and much stronger loader capacity. Might be useful for what you do.
