Have you heard of this scam?

Just saw this today. Don't know anyone who has been trapped by it. But I have had calls like this and my usual answer is "what?" Then they hang up.

Scammers NEVER call back,, real calls think they simply need to call back.

I only have a cell phone, if I do not have the number saved the phone gets silenced.

3 times last week a number from South Africa has called lol. My work phone is forwarded to my phone so I get a few numbers a day that don't answer.

If they don't leave a message, I never call back.

I have caller ID. If I don't recognise the number, that throws up flag in my mind and I am prepared for whatever is on the other end. It's nunya. is my answer to most questions from unrecognised numbers.

I get it 3 or 4 times a week. I've never heard them out. As soon as I know it's a robocall, it's done.

I really doubt they can do anything with just a simple, "yes", followed shortly by hanging up.

Often I don't answer calls that I don't know the number but occasionally I check to see what the scam dujoir is.

I was called 4 or 5 times on the Internal Revenue Service one, twice in one day.

I get people calling every once in a while from 'Microsoft'. Sometimes I will give them the run around and sometimes I get right to the point.
I put all three of my numbers on the Nation Do Not Call List. What a waste of time that was.

I have a phone with a talking caller ID. I have had more than one time the ID showed up and said SCAM CALL.
