Flagstaff got almost 4' of snow last week. Schools closed most of the week.I've left the plains in 50° weather and gone up to Flagstaff where it was snowing.

Spectacular view. You can do a similar trip in Canada on the Trent Severn Waterway. But no Aqueducts that I know of. Rent a house boat for the trip.YES !!!
We DID go over the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct..... a VERY interesting/beautiful experience.
The canal boat experience is TOTALLY relaxing!
We tied alongside a wall each evening, and walked to a local pub for dinner.
Cranked our own bridges, and opened/closed our own locks.
Hard to describe to others how fantastic the experience really is.
Irv, best wishes for your wife's checkup.18 here, and not much sun. Wife is a cancer survivor, and is going for her yearly checkup with the cancer doc. So far she has been clear, so I expect she will be ok. Not much planned for today, just the usual chores. I think our cats want me to start up the woodstove. Probably a good idea....
Be safe guys.

Spent the night in Flagstaff once, misunderstood the radio, thought it was 9 when he'd said 5, half asleep I took the wrong road and went north, finally got back to I40 after a circuitous route through Indian territory, at Winslow. A much longer story, involving Indians, and the Eagles, but I'll spare you.![]()

Better to pay a bit more up front than regret a purchase for a life time, PJ.
