Fired Road contractor. Build it myself?

Following this thread with much interest. You guys have it sussed. After having a chat with Egon, and a few days thought, I'm on the lookout for a broken plow/plough as I want to use the steering system as well, on my build. So it will always be centred to the headstock, even with it offset to the side- will be both heavy duty and half built already. Plus I will utilise the plough beam to mount the wheel from the headstock, not the blade's beam.
Just a thought.
(Only have a 6' blade on 8'6" wide tractor)
Surely there's some lying around.

Seem's there are many folks out there with gauge wheels and showing their setups. Lots of nice setup's that make me envious. If I' go to the other computer I could show some pictures of why. Give me a little time.

The first is my back blade with one gauge wheel showing. It's not in a working position. The second and third show a before and after grading for boat house pad and ramp going to lake. Tractor is a Kubota B7100 HST.

You accidentally got a rock stuck in your blade,,, did you notice it there?
I think you can get it out with a crowbar,,, :thumbsup:

I like the spillage wing at the tip of the blade.
ALL rear blades need those,,, I hate when that material overflows off the end of the blade.

Resurecting my "zombie thread" on road build. Wife and I have been working on it recently and today I had some #3 rock delivered.

The danged thing popped up and got stuck. Seemed to work better so I just left it there!
