Good morning! light rain for the 2nd day, 56˚. I have a job this week to fix that old antique church organ. Some keys are sticking. I'm thinking I can fix that, it just needs duct tape and rubber bands.

Cajun, good thing bad things only come in threes, you are in the clear now!

Farmer, It looks like your wife is giving you small steps at a time so you won't be overwhelmed, good thinking on her part.

Yeah. She's been on me about a house for a year or so. But this time it wasn't: when are you going to build? It was: let's fine some land so we can choose a building spot and start designing a house to fit.
I think she finally realizes that those TV shows that show a house built in an hour aren't realistic.

Hope you can find some land that fits. the house will cost about the same no matter where you build it (barring crazy foundation demands) but the land is what can make a good house, great.

My son caught a 5 lb bass (in our pond) last weekend all by himself. I did have to grab it by the lip to pull it out of the water. I didn't catch a 5 pounder until I was about 20. He's still 6.

warning, large download.

Cool, I've never caught one, but then I rarely fish.

Good thing for sure! Nice to hear from you Cajun. Sounds like you are suffering the effects of being underwater, though trucks usually don't wreck themselves...;)
You'll get it under control, just think, job security!

kiss your bride to makes sure. :D

I sure am suffering from being under water. I've had people asking me why I didn't desalt the tractor myself. Well, my excuse was that I had two houses to fix and no time for the tractor so I sent it to the shop and they screwed me well and good.

Guilty as charged on the truck. Some body slammed on the brake to make a sudden turn and I just could not stop fast enough.

I'm not working on the washer. That Maytag is 20+ yr old and is due for replacement.

Good Morning! 41F @ 7:15AM. Rain and snow showers this morning changing to mainly rain showers for the afternoon. Thunder possible. High 42F. Winds SSW at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 60%.

Should feel lucky to have low 40s temperature wise, especially with our northern tier of TBNers dealing with sub zeros, but it's not often I get snow in the forecast and the gray skies look the part. Brrrr!

Clever use of the magnets, Eric. I suppose if the sheet metal gets hot enough to compromise the magnetism you've got bigger problems than wobbly metal.

Sometimes, CR, just when ya feel like you're pulling even, it's your turn in the trick barrel again. Things'll work out with a little perseverance. Long as the money and the wife's patience hold out, you'll come out fine.

Had NAS drives all installed before breakfast, but moving the data from the backups took a looooooooong time. The media server for the video stores all the cover art and show descriptions, which were downloaded from the net, in some directory deep in the bowels of the file system that aren't part of the media directories that were being backed up, so the server is currently burning up the Interwaves downloading it all again. Try as I might, though, I'm having trouble using all of the new 100Gb/month data cap; it almost seems like the old satellite provider was overcounting the data use. That would be almost impossible to prove though.

Hope everyone enjoys a warm and restful Sunday!

You just reminded me. I've gotta to some thing about the backup for my servers. Another big item on the long list.

Good evening all. 54F this morning, some breeze heavy overcast. Last night rain forecast was a non-event, but intermittent drizzle today. Temps made it to 60F, and wind stayed low along with occasional fog. After chapel wide and I did a DASH substitute today, followed by lunch and a nap :). Then things slowed down a bit.
